OUR STORY
Pamelot School of Dance was founded by Pam Harrold on October 1, 1984, with one dance room and a dream of creating a place where children could discover the joy of dance. What began with Ballet, Tap, and Jazz quickly grew into a thriving studio offering a wide variety of dance styles and programs for students of all ages.
As the Pamelot family grew, so did the studio. In 1990, Pamelot expanded to include additional dance rooms and a welcoming space for families, thanks to the generosity of Leo and Eileen French, founders of Placer Title Company. Their support helped create the warm, family-friendly environment that continues to welcome dancers today.
Today, Pam's daughter, Debbi Sampson, proudly carries on her mother's vision. Under Debbi's leadership, the dream has continued to grow while staying rooted in the values that have defined Pamelot for more than 40 years: excellence in dance education, a nurturing and encouraging environment, and the belief that every dancer has unique potential.
Pamelot is more than a dance studio—it's a dance home. We are honored to have generations of families who have grown up in our studios and now share the experience with their own children. Our mission is to inspire confidence, character, creativity, and lifelong friendships while helping every dancer discover the joy that comes from believing in themselves.
Whatever you can conceive and believe, you can achieve. That belief continues to guide everything we do as we serve the Auburn community and inspire future generations of dancers.
