Pam Harrold - Owner/Artistic
Director Pam started studying ballet when she was three
years old. For the next 15 years ballet was the only form of dance she
pursued, studying with master teachers from all over the world,
concentrating her training at the San Francisco Ballet. When she was just
18 Pam became a professional performer in the musical theatre world and
added Musical Theater, Jazz, and Tap to her training. For the next
twenty-four years she performed on the professional stage, toured with the
gospel singing group, Liteside, taught dancing and choreographed for
different organizations, other performing groups, and schools throughout
greater Sacramento region. Since 1983 Pam has been the director and
choreographer for the Placer High School Spring Musical productions. Pam
also taught the Theater Dance class for the P.E. department at Placer High
school until the fall of 2001. She has added TV commercials and
appearances in TV movies to her resume since 1987.

Debbi Sampson - Owner/Manager
Debbi has danced for almost twenty-nine years studying ballet, jazz,
and tap. She has been a member of three professional dance companies
performing in different cities throughout Northern California. She has had
lead roles in musicals, including the part of Peggy Sawyer in 42nd
Street, and Rosemary Pelkington in How to Succeed In Business
Without Really Trying. She has also been a lead dancer in commercials
made for TV. She danced in Los Angeles for four years, training with such
well-known choreographers as Joe Tremaine, Jackie Sleight, Doug Caldwell,
Tony Copolla, and Michael Rooney. Her main emphasis has been jazz (both
lyrical and contemporary styles) and tap. Debbi was the recipient of a
scholarship from the Manhattan Dance Project that enabled her to study
ballet, jazz, tap, and musical theater on Broadway the summer of 1999. She
furthered her dance education there taking from Broadway and international
choreographers such as Gil Stroming, Suzi Taylor, Chet Walker, and the
Radio City Rockettes. Debbi teaches a Los Angeles type dance class,
highlighting style in dance as we as technique and performance. She has
taught and choreographed for many different groups throughout the
foothills. Debbi is a very dynamic and charismatic performer herself,
always giving her heart to the audience. Two years ago Debbi added
"Mom" to her resume with the birth of her son, Seth. Later this
year she will give birth to a new bundle of joy (and another new dancer
will be born!) |
